Another sheep to the slaughter...

Sharrup toxicgemors!

Gdiza....when u feel like u going into a trance like state when using ure blackbessie....just go with it...its great :-)

After fiddling with my wife's new 9700 for a good bit, all I can say is :sick:

The Blackberry experience summed up: hype and BB instant messages.

I read "Another sleep with daughter" - and thought news24 was up to something.... there goes my afternoon entertainment.

What on earth are u talking about merc? what bb were u trying out??? The 7100v by any chance? Besides, u scaring our new potential convert...scoot back to the iphone or android or what ever OS hole u craweled out of and SCRAM!!! Lol

GL, you'll soon realise that it's a poor phone after the novelty of the free portal wears off. Given that it's an 8520, that applies even more to you seeing that it's not capable of 3G :p

I have the Nokia E71 and it's (on paper) better than the 8520 Curve, so as you can see, I've done my homework, I just want something new to play with and the BB seems like a good enough toy.
The software on the 8520 definately beats the E71, but then again, it's just software, I'll be using the BB for basically tweeting, the chatting and FB'ing - doing this on the E71 is a bit of a mission since you need to use whole applications that CHOW battery ;)

gdiza, try to get the Curve 9300 if you still can. It is for all practical purpouses the replacement for the 8520.

Yay! Opening your box is like falling into the rabit hole. Lots of weird, exciting and magical things await you!
Papercuts? :confused:

@gdiza - enjoy the freedom. :)
