So I've been with Webafrica on Octotel for a while (Vredehoek area), and today was just the last straw. My download speeds are so inconsistent, with all my devices losing connection at least a few times a night. Not much better during the day either, my wife constantly has to use her mobile as a hotspot for zoom/ms teams/skype calls.
Currently on a 10/5 connection, but I'm looking to upgrade to 20/5. Problem is that WA only offers a 20/2 connection at R750 per month, and I understand that 5MBps upload is preferred for video calls. Want to give WA a call tomorrow to give my one month's notice, but which ISP would you guys suggest I go with instead? Not looking to spend much for than R700 (would wanna cap it at that if possible), and I don't really need a router, but I'll take a free one as a backup in case my own one dies.
