Anti e-tolling website goes up

Why does it seem like this thread is about the name of a website & not as stated in the OP about gathering together to stand against this bloody rediculous toll system???
/offers some cheese to go with the whine

Because those of us who have honed the ability to predict how the protractors of our ruling elite use emotionally filled historical and cultural scare tactics to disembowel antagonistic views towards them know that we have to be extremely careful not to use words and phrases that could be construed as detrimental to the initial cause in order to keep the focus on what matters.

If we noticed this almost immediately, so will "the other side".
I can give you quite a few examples of Apartheid style racists crawling out of the woodworks on social media to use the Toll Road issue as a pedestal for their views, and it's the last thing we need right now.
It's also hard to denounce the obvious word-play used in this abbreviation as being purely coincidental, and if it was, it's an obvious strategic oversight that potentially adds too much complexity and weakens the armor of a relatively simple moral composition affecting almost everyone.

So hand out all the cheese you want, it's a valid point, even if I wish it weren't.

That would make it "opposition to [the] urban tolling organisation", slightly different wording but still nonsensical IMHO.

Some obvious alternatives:

Alliance Against Urban Tolling (AAUT)
Opposition to Urban Tolling (OUT)
[-]FUSANRAL[/-]

It is actually an old Koi word taken up in Afrikaans meaning an old man. The word Aija was used for an old woman. When I grew up you always added the words Outa and Aija to the names of older black people like you added Oom and Tannie for older white people.
Thanks!

Also, are the owners of the site on this forum? They should have a representative like other groups.

I agree, the name of the website is not the issue here.

My Suggestion

Forget urban Tolling (FUT) or F... Urban Tolling!
