My chick gives me grief about snoring ALLLL the time, its an arse pain because I get blamed personally like Im doing it on purpose lol and have some way of stopping it. I may as well just stop farting too while im at it! not really tho

Anywayz, has anyone tried any anti-snore remedies?

Welcome to the club. Wait till you get a wife. I tried that appliance you put in your mouth bit it was uncomfortable. Just get another room
 
Hm. I've heard of a product called 'Breathe Right' strips.. or something similar to that anyway. Apparently they're sticky strips you put on your nose... Not sure how it works, if it pulls open the nasal passages or whatever... anyway those are supposed to reduce or stop snoring. Not sure if you get them here though.

I used to make a huge amount of noise from snoring. I would wake people in other parts of the house (apparently). Turns out there was a bit more to the issue than just snoring. To cut a long story short, I now sleep with a cpap machine (Constant Positive Air Pressure) which essentially blows a constant stream of pressurised air through your nasal passages... keeps me breathing. It also has a nifty side effect that removes any snoring. Of course, my wife wasn't impressed at first, as she had gotten used to my snoring over the years, and suddenly couldn't sleep because of the quiet. :p
 
I've never tried this but hey its worth a bash eh? :o

You need to put on a shirt with a breast pocket, put the shirt on backwards, so now you have a back pocket as opposed to a breast pocket :D, place a tennis ball inside the pocket. This will keep you from turning onto your back (supposedly).

Ive heard of a spray you can get, it does something to the back of your throat so the thing that makes u snore cant vibrate...or something like that

Cant do the ball thing either, I snore on my side. alledgedly
 
You could try "Stop Snoring" spray, available at most clicks pharmacies.
Spray on back of throat just before going to sleep.
Girlfriend seems to think it works, and she doesnt wake up like a bear with a sore tooth in the morning :D and snap at me for snoring.
 
You could also try searching for the ten other snoring threads that have already been posted in this forum :)
 
You should bonk your GF properly before going to bed so she wont hear the snoring.....
 
its a conspiracy. my wife says i snore even while i am still aware and not asleep yet.
 
. . . and here is something that is not widely know:

Females don't snore! Ask them! They'l tell you! :rolleyes:
 
Might as well put that snoring to good use, sleep with your face between her legs...
 
On a serious note, there are too many factors here. It could be everything from your pillow, mattress, your weight, your diet.

Personally I'm known to keep the bears at bay with my snoring and my weight is a big factor. Buying a better pillow (simmons) and good quality mattress (restonic) has helped but did not elimate it.

Since I started exercising and lost 10kg my snoring has helped. Still 15kg overweight.
 
John Robbie was waffling about this gumguard thingey that somebody was touting as a solution, he said it worked like a bomb, check the 702 website. I also believe that some hospitals have a snoring clinic, because it can be an indication of a problem as well. perosnally I can raise the roof on a good day.
