Backstreetboy's Salt of the Earth Crystal Classic Deodorant Rock review

After losing one in Spain I decided to get some more. You get them in different sizes. It's best to apply it after a shower or you can just wet the crystal. You still sweat but it doesn't smell. Also doesn't leave marks on your clothes or give you wet underams. Also doesn't cut you like some others.

TL;DR should you buy it?
Yes it works for me. Will have to see how long it lasts but some say it lasts for 3+ years so will see.

I use this. Works great and it last basically until you drop it, and shatter it into a million pieces.

Normal antiperspirants inflames the glands under my arms, and makes them swell up to the size of golf balls.

BUT in saying that, their marketing is either retarded, or plain dishonest.

'Aluminium-free' they claim. Yet it's a pure Potassium Alum crystal. Which is short for potassium aluminium sulfate.

Think they're referring to the supposed bad aluminium.

These still work great. You get them for cheaper at Dischem at R120. Purchased a few so I'm stocked up for a decade. Got one wet and it almost disintegrated lol. They do last forever.

If you've had enough of underarm sweating like I did then I can recommend doing the Miradry procedure. It destroys your sweat glands, forever. Not cheap unfortunately, but you basically won't need antiperspirants ever again after only 1 or 2 sessions.

And when you actually end them, like when it’s fking hot and your body is overheating?

Eccrine sweat glands are primarily responsible for cooling. Apocrine, the ones in your armpit, not as much.
Interesting, so the armpit ones are just there to create a bacteria friendly zone to generate enchantingly smelly wafts of BO to attract potential mates?

You don't overheat any more than usual. If one is self-conscious about your underarm sweating then this is the only permanent solution available, as botox has to be done every 6 months or so.

I'll get my 2nd treatment in about a month and then it'll really turn into summer here, which is very hot and humid. So should be a real test in a few months and will see how successful it is.

The numbing process did hurt, but then I didn't feel much during the actual procedure. Numbness and nerve sensitivity lasted for a week or 2, but now it feels normal. Hair growth is also much less/thinner.

Guess nothing will work 100% of the time for everyone. I was just sick of it and no antiperspirant worked, so went all out.

Very interesting. Keep us updated.
