Any facebook developers out there?

I've seen a facebook developer network in Cape Town. Anyone knows of facebook savvy developers in the Gauteng area?

in the day and age of the internet why oh why do they have to be in Gauteng?

I see this again and again, clients ask me to come and see them when all they need is to tell me in writing what they want me to develop for them.

This is the same unless you are thinking of paying a monthly salary for a pet developer just contact one of the people in Cape Town and send them the spec, if you need get them to sign a confidentiality agreement and go on from there.

Explain what you need after the agreement is signed and witnessed. Then set a framework and a time for which payment can be expected and how you intend to pay. For secure online payment use pay pal or worldpay.

Expect to pay anything upwards of R4500.00 plus as a deposit and in reality depending on the complexity upwards of R35000.00 to well over half million if the application is large.

Just remember that all specification must be down in writing or scope creep sets in and the client forgets or the developer forgets that this or that was included, if its not in writing ITS NOT IN THE PRODUCT.
