So what is the verdict on this mouse?

I have the razor back diamond

gaming its very good but for artwork design not that great

but being left handed by the far the best mouse out there

would like a logitech but nooooooooo right handed mice FTW

bunch of lamers

Thanks for the replies.

Got mine yesterday at Rage and I am suitably impressed.....

I use MX510 for a long time, before it MS IE3 is my love......
I have tried diamondback, it's small for my hand, though my Chinese hand also samll.........

I've played around with one for a little while. I found the things darn uncomfortable compared to my mx518. I wouldn't get it for playing games for hours on end, my hand woukd break. I guess that's what makes it nice for others, it's not too uncomfortable to play with but not too comfortable that it affects your game in a bad way. That's my personal opinion about the mouse, I doubt I'll be able to play with that mouse for long :(

Interesting I'll have have a look at it next time I'm in the market. The Mighty Mouse is ambidextrous too.

Funny thing is I dont know if I could use a mouse left handed after spending so much time learning how to use one right handed.

I am surprised people are still talking about the Diamondback. The Copperhead is far superior IMO, basically the upgrade from the Diamondback.

I give my Razer a cuddle everyday and I thank it for existing.

I have a Diamondback, but as lilDeath says, the Copperhead is superior... Still, the Diamondback is a pleasure to use, compared to other similarly priced mice.

I think if you use Logitech or Microsoft big mouse for years, and fps is not the only one you play, you don't need it.

I've been looking closely at the 2 Razer products and can't actually make up my mind. The Diamondback is cheaper and offers great performance. The Copperhead is pricey but has a bunch of extra features (which I may not actually use).

I'm not keen on the super-bright glow of the Copperheads (nor the continuously pulsing emblem). I do prefer a matt finish for my mouse (like the Copperhead) though, compared to the slick plastic of the Diamondback.

Right now the last point is really the only thing that's keeping me from getting a Diamondback.

Was also skeptical about the price of the two Razers. The price for the Copperhead being a lazer mouse I would say is worth the money IF you have the cash to fork out for a mouse.
Value for money I'd say the Diamondback gives nearly the same speed as the Copperhead for around R200 less..........

There is no way you can have the crispness and high speed performance of a Copperhead on the Diamondback.
Lazer is so superior. FACT!
I like also being able to adjust speeds on the fly and being able to save certain config templates and just load them. Very
The Copperhead is also a better fit in your hand, IMO.
Fact is the Diamondback does not come close, overall.

So it comes down to money... ;)

Silly question. Where can I get hold (of resellers) of the Razor hardware in the Cape Town area ?
