I have a question regarding our SharePoint I hope someone out there could give me an idea of where the problem might be.
We are redoing our sharepoint server in a test environment and have configured everything according to our documentation; we are running a standard setup as far as I understand.
We configure the necessary on the application server and under the site administration but as soon as we restore the WSS_content database (where all our sites are stored) on the DB server nothing works and not even the site administrator loads but then we roll back to the databases created by SharePoint initially the sites load again.
My SharePoint knowledge is very limited I must admit.
Any ideas guys?
