So I was wondering. Since international got so cheap, why is the local only offerings still staying on the same price?

Couldn't that get a bit cheaper? 2 local only accounts @ Openweb would cost you R260 for 60gb local opposed to Uncapped which is currently R219 for 384k.

Seems a bit silly to bring international down but local is kept the same?

Would this signal the end of local only accounts?

The only cheap local that I know of is the bundle of the IS Softcap accounts:

R69 - 10GB Local - includes 1GB international
R129 - 30GB Local - includes 2GB international

Doubt you'll get much cheaper unless WA or another IPC owner starts giving it away... although when the IPC (no matter if local or intl.) costs around R4-8 per GB to Telkom before you even start! With that cost in mind it shows just how cheap the uncapped accounts really are.
