They have good pricing and good reviews on hellopeter. Got good reviews om MyBB too but that was from almost 2 years ago and not much else. Anybody here using them? Would you recommend using them?

You don't like Seacom anymore?

They have a rep on the forum @Level7

Based in Centurion mostly wireless but their fibre is pretty good too.

I was very happy with Seacom up until last week when their peering policies (according to other forum users) started messing with my gaming. And Seacom's 'tough luck' response did not do them any favours.

Had a friend use their fibre on Openserve but latency was terrible since they route via JHB or something like that. (don't know if this has changed) Also had issues with them afterwards. they claimed he still had their router (which he never received)

I know it's not technically in the hands of the ISP, but I placed an order for fiber from Level 7 on the 3rd and have yet to receive an installation data from Vumatel. Is this normal?

My in laws live three blocks down the road and placed and order (Also Vumatel, different ISP) the week before I did and had the physical installation done and dusted within 3 days. So wondering if this is just a matter of luck...

Hi Icarium,

Install dates vary due to different factors. Can you PM me your details so we can check the install date for you?

That seems to be a mistake on the portal. Its month to month same as the others. Thanks for pointing out will get it fixed l.

Thanks for fixing it.

Can you confirm that the upload applies for international as well?

E.g. If I order 200/200 then I'll actually see that upload bandwidth on international - as opposed to some ISP's that only offer the full bandwidth on local and throttle international drastically.

I am on @Level7 and have issues with getting full international speeds. Sometimes it just doesn't clock above 5Mbps on my 50/50, whilst other times it runs at full speed.

Hello, this was what I was worried about, peak times signal loss...Have they fixed this issue?

Level-7 has good pricing. I'm interested in their 20/20 service at R749 on Vumatel. I hope they can deliver.
Did you get their services? Wanting to move to them but worried about slow services during peak times.

I tried to sign up with Level7 - but they wouldn't accept my pre-order, whereas MindTheSpeed happily did.

When I phoned to cancel my Vumatel order @ Level7 (they sent me an email saying they wouldn't accept pre-orders, and one needs to cancel the Vumatel order before you can order elsewhere) nobody batted an eye - despite me saying I'd be going with MTS.

It seems ISPs don't want / need money - I'd stay away if the pre sign up service is this bad.

Unfortunately I've decided to cancel the account. It was somewhat unbearable. I ran speedtests for a few days. Here are the results:

No hard feelings though. I know they are investigating, however I need stability at the moment for work. Their support has always been top notch!

So I've been with Level7 since December - Couldnt find much info on them but decided to give them a shot based on pricing... I get 220Mb/s (local) and 160Mb/s+ international, pretty consistently on my 200mb line (which costs less than 100mb everywhere else)
All in all, really happy with them, have only had to use support once (on a weekend, to reassign my MAC address), and had no issues at all

Hi,

Just out of interest, are you still happy with Level-7? Still getting good speeds and service?
