Anybody signed up with Tymebank?

Yes. I've tried the camera and the manual method. The tap method isn't supported by your card it seems.
 
Happens to my dad. Appears to be a scammer trying to hack his account though.
I have two fraud cases from 2 Jul 2024 and 26 Jul 2024 regarding unauthorised card transactions still open with TymeBank. Might be related. Of the 11 fraudulent transactions I reported, two have been reversed. I've given up on asking fraud at tymebank.co.za for feedback; they simply don't respond.
 
is there ANY way at all to add a Virtual card WITHOUT the Idiotic selfie verification,?
selfie at Home affairs is extreamly old, as I CANNOT get a New Smart ID as wasnt born in SA,

but still do want to add a Virtual card to a smartwatch,

nobody seems to know how to do this.

I need to close my Tymebank Account as the DHA process is not going to be resolved in 30 days.
Wasted yesterday at DHA only to be turned away after many hours queuing and in major areas they are only taking appointments for next month.
Tymebank seems adamant that DHA have my latest details or I must leave.
Nice way to treat customers given the demographic appeal is to the impoverished of the country who will not necessarily have their details updated at DHA.
If I close my account until DHA get my updated details can I reopen it when this is all eventually resolved?

Closed my account and they said no but I think you just need to speak to the right person. I don't think they really close the account and just deactivate it or change the password.

Think I read somewhere the only way to close a TB account is by leaving it dormant for a year. I'll see if I can find any info, and add a link here if I do, because I might also be moving away from TymeBank soonish.

Yeah read the same. With no physical branches and a tie in to the government run DHA this is not viable anymore.

Is there a way to reopen your account @TymeBank ZA?
In my case biometric verification failed online and at the kiosk so I have to try and move all my funds and close my account.

No, its not closed. Tymebank told me to leave if I cannot verify my account using biometrics.
I tried online and via the kiosk and it failed. No choice it seems but to close and leave.

That's dismal, they should at least provide feedback after the investigation whether positive or negative.
That being said the last two chargebacks I opened with FNB the useless cnts also didn't give any feedback after investigation which cost me a lot of wasted time. All banks seem to operate with very little oversight these days :(
