Internet seems slow - Deezer was buffering terribly, packets timing out left right & center.

I have a 200/200mb line so this shouldn't be happening.

Anyone else experiencing similar?

Thanks

Yep. Just got an email from Axxess. Nationwide outage on the Vuma network. ETA unknown

Nationwide? I'm on vumatel and haven't had any issues besides a few disconnects in the past week that each lasted around a minute

edit: I jinxed myself :(

Been having bad speeds from last week, any time from 18:30. Thought it was to do with the load shedding but now 2 nights in a row. This isn't a new occurrence for me. Download speed test at testmy.net showed 74kb download speed. I was getting faster speeds on Telkom adsl, copper lines 1mb and paying far less for the privilege. I'd love to wave goodbye to MWEB/Vumatel but they are the only ones "servicing" my area in regards to Fibre.

Where about are you located, and is this still ongoing? I am in Cape Town, and is once again terrible tonight.

I had no issues last night & I'm also on Vuma/Mweb & CT southern suburbs

Johannesburg. The last couple of night actually were alright. But I see tonight I'm back to under 300kbs (29kb/s) download speed and an upload speed of 5mbs.

A family member has been having a lot problems with their credit card machine at work. The technician has mentioned that there is a lot of problems with the networks. Maybe that is a clue.

MWEB got back to me nearly a week after my initial complaint. They gave me some very technical things to work through with my modem. I'm not tech savy and I'm hesitant to do it. I also can't see is my modems fault. During the day time my speed is fine, come what I assume is peak time the speeds start dropping. I don't feel this is a localized issue, I think this is a MWEB or Vumatel are throttling my line. Which they shouldn't be.
