Anyone else experiencing Mweb drop-outs ?

I'm in the Tygerberg area - since switching from MTN to Mweb I am experiencing quite a lot of connection drop-outs.

The router does not lose connection but traffic just dies - sometimes for a minute or so, sometimes for longer.

I did not have this while with the previous ISP and just wondered whether it is the norm with Mweb.

I'm experience the same, especially on International sites, MyBB and MyG load, albeit slowly, Facebook and other internationals just don't want to load at all, then suddenly everything just starts working again, only to be screwed again few minutes later...

I'm also in the Tygerberg area.
 
Hi Guys

Mweb is messing around with the network again our servers in their hosting zone is also experiencing non existing icmp traffic but the tcp traffic seems fine. They are probably doing some changes today Im waiting for a report will let you guys know if I get the feedback.
 
Same here, in Parow, everybody in the office blames me. O the curse of IT support.
 
I am having the same problem.. I have a Business Uncapped Account with the Mweb Gateway we are using, i have been having this problems from the day the seacom cable had problems, thats like week or two ago already.

Upload speed is terrible, browsing is terrible.. i am currently using an Telkom account and this is the results:

And i have done about 5 speedtest with each account.


And we are located in Parow as well.
 
I use Amobia (wireless internet) which uses uses MWeb in turn as far as I know. My latency was up and down yesterday evening.

I don't even try anymore.. currently using a Telkom account, because we are running a business here and our e-mail's need to go threw, and the Mweb people you talk with over the phone.. i think they are Telkom Drop-Outs.
 
I just signed a 4MB Uncapped Mweb contract. I hope I did'nt just make a mistake? :confused:
 
I have the same problem in Paarl. I am on a 1024mb line uncapped with mweb.
 
I'm also in the Tygerberg/Welgemoed area and experiencing constant timeouts and very slow internet.

Although I'm on Openweb Gold Uncapped 4Mbps
