Anyone else experiencing Mweb drop-outs ?

MWeb Guy, thanks for the input but I'm not sure how PM'ing our details is going to help.

There seems to be a consensus that drop-outs are occurring on a regular basis - while the physical internet connection between us and Mweb stays up.

Paarl, Welgemoed, Durbanville are not all on the same exchange so it's likely that the problem lies within the Mweb network.

Are the tech's fiddling with routing during business hours - as it stands the Business account service is not acceptable.

Can't play Guild wars at all at the moment, I log in, can't move my char due to 20k ping, shortly thereafter all works fine again,

Edit: Did a tracert to fb when I notcied the 20k ping

We have been having the same issues with one of our servers in their Cape Town DC, local monitoring is not picking up any problems, but international monitoring is saying the server is down.

Good morning everyone,

All your concerns have been noted.

I have sent all your info and those of the other thread to the relevant department.

They will investigate and as soon as they provide me with feedback I'll update you.

Regards,

MWEB Guy

Hi All,

I received feedback stating that we have no international/Network issues.

Please inbox me tracert & ping results to the site/s you having issues with.

Please also include where you situated and MWEB account details.

Regards,

MWEB Guy

I'm in Randvaal between Heidelberg, Alberton and Meyerton and the last 24 hours the internet is up and down constantly and BCS Net tells me it is Telkom and Telkom say it is my ISP... but it seems that it is a problem.

ADSL uncapped 4Meg.

Also having issues on the Cybersmart side. I suggest it is a wider problem.

Also having issues all day today so as helpful as you are Mweb Guy (Really it is appreciated) I doubt account details are going to grant you much insight to this large scale issue.

They never admit things that affect anyone else - just an observation. Always asking specific people for their account details so it's handling singly and in private.
