Anyone else experiencing Mweb drop-outs ?

On uncapped 4mbps.
While playing MW3 on Xbox live, all users on MWEB suddenly red line. Last for about 10 to 15 seconds then back to normal. Happens very often.
This has been for 2 or 3 days now. Gamers on other ISPs are nor having the same problems.

Hi Mike,

Please advise if this is only happening while gaming or if it is happening with normal browsing as well?

Regards,
MWEB Guy

Are you only experiencing it on MW3 or other games as well?

Only MW3. I don't play anything else :)
It happens with all MWeb gamers though. Each time it happens I have a look at the connections and only us MWeb guys are red lining. The rest are fine.
Sometimes an MWeb guy gets host and then everyone in the game well red line for a few seconds, which makes sense.

Please PM me the account details in order for me to see if I can pick up anything.

Thanks,

Hi everyone

As MWEB Guy stated we don't have anything showing up on the outage front over the time period in question.

Can any of you perhaps let me know if these symptoms are ongoing? If so I'd like to try and get some more detail from you so that we can try and isolate the cause.

Thanks
Will

Things seem to have settled yesterday evening. I played MW3 on XBox360 from around 16H00 until 02H00 this morning. Had odd lag spikes but did not seem to experience any of the drop outs.

Thanks Mike, please let us know if the problem returns.

Same basically happened for me, didn't experience any more drop outs, just had some odd spikes here and there, but was still playable ^^

Thanks Gents

I've had some feedback from the engineers on this as well. They've isolated a card in one of the devices at our London POP, that wasn't behaving itself, which is consistent with these symptoms. They've given it a stern talking to and are monitoring things closely. :)

Only a stern talking to? This affected my weekend MW3 - you have no idea how important that is to me.
I think this cheeky little card needs a good bloody hiding :D

LOL :) I know exactly how it important it is - my Friday night BF3 was impacted as well and my wife kept me busy for the rest of the weekend. Although in all fairness from the hours you said you logged yesterday I'm surprised your eyes aren't bleeding :p

My eyes are always a little bit strained. Being a dev I live in front of a screen. When I am not coding I am gaming or on my phone. My wife rags me because I am hardly seen without some form of screen in front of me.

Weekends are always gaming time. Fri and Sat night the mates and I push 21H00 to 04H30 then Sunday night I try to get to bed by midnight to start the week fresh, but ye - hardly ever happens. During the week I cut it down though and only jam 21H00 to 02H00.

Got to prestige man... Some things in life you just have to prioritise :)

Most awesome news, thanks for continuing to look into the issue when it seemed like there was none on your side and also giving us feedback on what the issue was. That is the kinda feedback I really appreciate.

I love it :) My wife once said I was more recognizable from the back. I do try to balance my hours a lot more these days, but I must admit BF3 has made that quite a challenge in the last few weeks.

My pleasure :)
