Anyone has been to RAGE??

Went there today from 10 to 2pm. Definitely won't go next year, Seems like nothing to do if you not those Area 77 Lan gamers. Oh yes, Digital Planet is FALSE ADVERTISING their Audigy Value, They have ads on one of the JOBURG university campus newpaper for AUDIGY VALUE special price R249, went there and ask, they don't sell there but need to place an order online, then go check their product range, no such card under creative sound card nor RAGE special link!! Asked someone at CTT computers (on the ad, this is the other place where the special will be available), was told stock was still at Durban!!!!!!!

Useless assistants at all booth since most of them don't know the 'specials' their company advertised on papers.

Is Rage only once a year?

Wow, OC is every month... Well OC is more of a social LAN, alot of gaming, but their own DC++ server for leeching and lots of socialising lately.. People getting drunk outside etc... lol.. damn kids.

Went to Rage today, I thought it was quite disappointing since the LAN took up most of the dome & the expo was generally focussed on just the XBOX 360 which some games looked crap because of the TV, eg Quake 4 looked like it running on Low at 640x480 & restrained myself a lot not to kick telkoms asses everytime I walked past there stand

I found rage to be a big dissapointment this year. They should just have called it "Xbox360 Launch weekend".

Didn't enjoy it much, was there for all of about haf an hour.
