Ever since Cloudfare went down, we have been having trouble getting our email up and running again. Our domain and emails are with them.

After 2 days communication with 1-grid, they are nowhere close to solving our problem. They keep giving me "solutions" that don't work.

I'm livid. Struggling with outlook and their webmail portal.

Their support has been terrible if I look and my most recent support query. I dont know whats going on with them! Think its time I move on to another provider...sorry I cant offer advice, but its not just you feeling this...

Is there not a representative on the MyBB forum here from 1-Grid?

They fixed incoming mail, and I'm using gmail for outgoing. However, their response time is still abysmal. I also want to move away from them. Consolidate everything together with my current ISP.

Cloudflare’s recent outage caused DNS resolution delays for a lot of providers.
If your domain’s DNS is hosted with them, even once Cloudflare comes back online you can still hit mail delays or failed lookups while ISP caches refresh.

Outlook and many webmail portals tend to hold onto stale DNS records for longer than you’d expect, so you often see symptoms like:
  • incoming working, outgoing failing
  • webmail slow or timing out
  • intermittent authentication errors
  • Gmail sending but not receiving
If your DNS is still with Cloudflare, it may help to:
  • clear local DNS (ipconfig /flushdns)
  • restart the router to refresh its cache
  • check that MX and A records at Cloudflare are resolving correctly again
You don’t have to switch hosts, but DNS outages can create ripple effects that take a few hours to fully settle depending on the setup.
