Watch out for WTW114 it's probably the hardest 1st year IT modules unless you a math genius

One of my friends is doing 3rd year BSc.IT so I'll ask him to help me with my calculus I just want to pass calculus then I'm happy

You can't exempt CIL112 unfortunately.
Also if your Afrikaans and your English is also very good, take the EOT exemption in English, rumor has it it's far easier (did mine in English even though I'm Afrikaans)

True but the engineers at least focus more on practical rather than theoretical (well at least at Tuks, they do other math modules than Actuary/IT students) but yeah thank goodness for only 4 math modules
Some of my friends took Calculus further, needles to say they've decided to do go other modules for the extra credit

Only way around it is to do Multimedia (no math) but I think it's a BA degree so yeah
