Anyone seen this chrome error?

This is the second time now in the past 4 or so weeks this would happen, out of nowhere chrome will throw this brown sad face in a tab and will not work at all, it will not open settings, a webpage, bookmarks anything.

Maybe because of Incognito?

Nope, those are errors or an error state/malfunction crash whatever one would like to call it but the only message/que/feedback is that small icon.

Also I do not use Incognito, at all.

Install adblock to block the flash adverts. ;P

Have experienced the same when flash crashes, taking chrome with it.

But I do have adblock that is what is throwing me as I was under the impression the impression I am blocking flash.

Yes that's flash crashing. Best solution is to update to Chrome 55 that went stable last night. It'll block flash on all sites except the ones you allow.

Custom is also often death and instability.

That's why Google doesn't allow you to theme everything... also Firefox copied it and restricted theming as well last year.
