Anyone use Plex Media Server?

Oh good. I am having some problems.

I have 2 servers installed - my Mac and my PC. The Mac (installed first) shows up on DLNA devices. My PC, however, does not but the media on it does all show up under the Mac. So now when my Mac is off I can't access anything on the PC.

Any idea why?

Do both your server instances have different names? If you have not changed the names, your clients won't be able to differentiate between the two.

I have two as well. I call them Main and Kids. In my list of DLNA devices, they show up as "Plex Media Server (Main)" and "Plex Media Server (Kids)".

Yes they have different names. There was something odd though - I had one named after my workgroup (as in "Plex Media Server:workgroup) and I thought this was just a compilation on the media player but when I think about it the software automatically filled that in before I changed the name on the PC. I think it just had a hiccup changing the name. I uninstalled it, disconnected my mac and then reinstalled on the PC and it shows up fine. When I open the Mac again it shows up too. And their media is separate, not mixed up in each other's listings. All is good.

Actually it says there is nothing in "Movies" so I hope that rectifies soon once it is finished indexing.
