Cant Access Plex Free Live TV

Thank you for the post since I was also struggling with this for nearly a month. Realised that PLEX does not have any e-mail technical support to help, albeit that the message says you must contact technical support. This dispite having a lifetime pass.

What is worst about the matter is that the marketing of Plex says you could watch their movies (on-demand) and live TV (e.g. Reuters or EuroNews) from anywhere in the world! Is South africa not "anywhere in the world"? How can local restrictions dictate what an American company should do? Therefore I agree with @Brian_G there is certainly a possibility Multichoice/DSTV may have (helped) trigger this.
It's not Multichoice, it's due to the challenging nature of dealing with local ratings requirements (FPB). It's probably the same reason why services like Pluto TV and Tubi aren't available here either.

This is affecting the hdhomerun/threadfin element. Live TV on my Android TV box has the yellow explanation mark. Live TVs disappeared from the web interface. I can still access my channels on my Android TV box but it's a nightmare. Not every attempt at getting into live TV is successful sometimes I need to go out and in a few times and only then I able to use my DVR features. I don't even use plex's free TV. I use threadfin/hdhomerun to get TVNZ channels.

I don't use live TV very often, but at least it's there when I need it or when I want to see what's on. It's one of the reasons why I pay for Plex plus.

Hey guys. Just a question.

With DSTV dropping like almost 10 channels. It's not worth it for me. I tested Plex (Live TV) with a free VPN and working well. Is this being monitored by ISPs?

Free TV + Free VPN... Will this be a problem?

Does it matter? There are no laws to prevent you watching content that is free in another country. Just don't try and sell it.

Yeah.

I'm thinking the same. It's still free channels. I used to use Plex alot. It's still a bit buggy. But will work for me.

Cool. Will play around hehe

Free vpn? I wouldn’t trust it.

Thanks for posting this. I don't really watched anything on Plex Live TV and has instead been watching my own Plex NAS server content but for some reason I felt like watching their live tv recently and discovered that it's not working anymore here in my location.
