Howzit everyone

Its time for me to get a new case - Im dead set on the CM690 II Plus (or Advanced) because of its cooling abilities and price. Im specifically wanting to get the windowed version.

Someone on another forum recommended I try BIOSonline - Id like to know if anyone has used them to order from before?
Their site seems a bit suspect - too many entries for ONE case model etc.
Found here: http://www.biosonline.co.za/index.php?main_page=advanced_search_result&search_in_description=1&keyword=CM+690+II

For R800 - its a lot less than my obvious choices: Esquire; Wootware etc.
Compared to http://www.wootware.co.za/coolermaster-rc-692p-kwn5-cm-690-ii-plus-usb-3-0-windowed-side-panel-atx-desktop-chassis.html

I cant stop and wonder though, is this site legit? Even though its a 'trusted shop' on pricecheck etc, I dont like the look of the site.

Am I just being paranoid? :)

Thanks for all the input!

Hey,

I've bought Label Printer taps from them and everything went smoothly.

It seems to me like they're more expensive than Wootware with the USB3 version of the case.

Please just take note that there are many different versions of the 690 II !
* Basic
* Plus
* Advanced
* USB 3
and then also a combination of Windowed/Non-Windowed, and also colour schemes: white, black & nvidia

They're legit. I know the guy personally. Proper genuine guy. Goes out of his way to ensure everything is right. BTW its not a one man operation, just that I know the guy who started it all. He is slightly pricier than some others. But then he does try to ensure that your backup service is top notch.

In other words you get what you pay for, service in this case which is the best expense.

I've personally never used them before but they are very well known and seem legit.

i have used them once before, went fine no hiccups etc

but then I tried ordering the same item again, it said it is no longer stocked
so i sent an email enquiring about new stock/alternative, im still waiting for a reply 4 months later

I have also had a couple of orders with them, very good service on both occasions, so for me it's also a :thumbsup:

Im not too phased about the extra USB 3 ports on the case - my motherboard comes with a seperate header for USB3.

So, please correct me if im wrong here - the only difference between this: http://www.wootware.co.za/coolermaster-rc-692p-kwn5-cm-690-ii-plus-usb-3-0-windowed-side-panel-atx-desktop-chassis.html

and this: http://www.biosonline.co.za/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=6_98_217&products_id=5059

is the BIOSonline case doesnt have the USB3 ports? Am I correct? Or is there something else im missing?
Something Im not too phased about.

Any other major reasons why I should be going for the advanced version as opposed to the plus? Cause I cant see anything worthwhile.

I bought a pair of headphones from them and i had to RMA them after 8 months...no questions asked and they didnt have replacement parts for the broken one and gave me a newer model.

All i had to do was pay for delivery.

Well, I'm not having the best experience. No one has replied to my emails (been 3+ days). His Skype isn't online either.

The address in the checkout is broken. Does anyone have an alternate contact?

PM me your details, and I'll give him a shout. We've had connection issues in our area lately, so maybe his line is down. I haven't spoken to him in a while. Also include in the PM what your queries were.

He's contacted me via PM. Thanks

The company changed hands some time back. Great service before. Yeah it looks that way.

Amazing to believe someone can buy out the business and expect it to fly as before without applying the same service levels as the previous owner.

I emailed them an inquiry in June last year, and not getting a response in over a week, did a followup call and spoke to the new owner. Even after that I never got a reply. So it's not surprising really.

Got a problem with the goods you purchased?
