anyone used invisibleshield

I use one on my iPhone 3G. It started peeling on the thin bit below the home button. I got a free replacement from the US. It was actually an improved design for the back cover.

I do however have issues with the bits on the corners that keeps peeling.

While it's on though, it works brilliantly!!

Bottom line: excellent product but mileage may vary.

Sorry Davemc.....I was referring to the review posted by oradba69. They were comparing invisible shield to the bodyguardz one......the videos there also seem to indicate that the invisble sheild one is more difficault to manipulate.....could just be the dude doing it though.

I almost clicked "purchase" for the bodyguardz one...then saw the SHIPPING charge! Eish

I need to know if u drop ur phone on the floor will the shield protect it significntly
 
I've got one on my N79, N85 and E66. Not the easiest product to apply and not the cheapest guard/pouch/cover on the market either. I paid around R250 for the shields and they cover back and front.

The shield is pretty easy to take off, should the need arise, without damaging the screen. I did it on my E66 as the shield was scratched while I was applying it (my fault). It was replaced as the manufacturer offers a warranty/guarantee against scratches (got it through shop and ship online store).

It's very effective in protecting the hardware from scratches but won't offer much protection should you drop your phone so I still use pouches in conjunction with the shield.

Thanks to this thread I just ordered one on line for my E66, which is a finger print magnet of note. Will you know how it turns out.

Of the 3 I've used the E66 was the hardest to apply simply because there are so many little bits and pieces designed to cover every little angle and inch of the E66... Good luck...

I only really bothered with the piece covering the screen and a piece covering the battery cover..

From what I've read, the InvisibleShield has a bit of an orange peel feeling. Apparently, the sensation of the touch screen isn't great either cos of the shield's rubbery texture. The idea is to provide a better grip but some people complain of the stylus jumping and general touch flo a bit hampered.

The Brando Ultra Clear seems to be a better option in terms of how it feels, but it's only a screen protector.

I'm also in two minds about what to get :confused:
 
I've used them on all my expensive stuff, ipods, cell phones etc. I think they are great and well worth the money if you have the cash to spare. THough I only ever paid half price for them when there were sales. I don't know if I personally would pay the whole price as you can get other stuff on ebay that is almost the same quality for less than half price.
