Anyone using Boxbilling with a reseller package

Hi guys,

I have recently decided to venture into domains and hosting reselling and have been exploring Boxbilling. It looks decent to me but unfortunately my two ISPs do not offer integration solutions /modules for Boxbilling, only for WHMCs. WHMCs is a bit expensive for me at the moment.

Is there anyone using Boxbilling with an SA ISP?

I checked their instruction on adding a custom domain registrar but I was getting nowhere.

Don't you have your own servers?
 
No I dont have my own servers, I am with one ISP for domains reseller package and a different ISP for hosting reseller package. In order for Boxbilling to work it has to be integrated with my domains reseller account for domain checking, registering and transferring. Not sure if thats what you were asking.

My ISP only offers an integration module for WHMCs and not Boxbilling. When I asked them about box billing they said they dont offer a module for it but they gave me their API and am not sure where to start with the API they gave me.
 
They dont offer assistance for a free package. Might have to find someone to help with coding seeing that I have the API from ISP, alternatively I might have to switch the ISP.
 
Ah, ISP is what is throwing me. It's not your ISP, but your hosting company. Cool. Now that I know exactly what you're talking about, how much are you looking to make from this venture? Money-wise?

Free is always good (my favorite price to pay in fact!) but there comes a point where, if you're serious about the business, you'd have to make a decision on where you want to go/be in the future. It might be worthwhile investing in an unlimited non-branded WHMCs license, I believe you can sell it if things flop to regain some of the capital spent in startup, and start from there. Especially if you see yourself recouping the costs within 6-12 months

But that's just my opinion :)

If your host has an API to interact with to do stuff, and you're hell-bent on using BoxBilling because it's free, I suggest learning how to program to make the API work with BoxBilling. Otherwise your only recourse would be to hire someone to do it... which costs money. Or trick a programmer that doesn't know any better to do it for free in turn for shares in your new hosting business? :)
