Anyone using Mozilla Thnuderbird 2 as their email client?

I prefer Outlook Mr Shakey, but Thunderbird is quite cool, I have used it, but that was more than a year ago, so I can't say how it is now ;)
 
I've got 3 years' worth of stored email sitting in mine, long enough now that I can't really tell you anything good or bad, it's pretty much all on autopilot now. But I'll say this: it's a great alternative to LookOut Express which, as a mail-only app, it's really pitched and has the added benefit of being immune to the kind of attacks the from which the latter would suffer.

Also, it takes extensions like Firefox so I largely killed ads from showing by adding Adblock Plus (it cost me my Dilbert feed in ITWeb mailshots tho) :mad: ..give it a try. :p

THUNDERBIRD rocks, is way better than outlook by a mile

ive used it since i first about firefox and thunderbird

lovin both of them

also backing up is so easy, much easier than outlook
 
yeah been using Thunderbird since it came out, no probs.
 
Well I wanted to move to Thunderbird, but have had probs importing from opera. Did a little investagation on the net as to how this can be done, but couldnt work it out, so i'm still with O.
 
I've extracted it to my flashdisk, double-clicked the exe and nothing happened. Tried it on my mate's PC, same result... Extracted it to my external harddrive, no change. But it's not really a bit problem, just a bit irritating :D

Downloaded and got rid of Outlook :)

I like the look of it - not as clustered as MS's option. Should've figured that cos of the comparison one can draw between IE and FF (not that there is any :D )

Too tired to really get to grips with it, but it's go a thumbs-up from me thus far :D
 
I also tried the windows live mail app, but dont work on 2k. Opera email does what it supposed to do, and thats kinda it.
