Anyone waiting for the Renault Duster?

The South African Duster had a face-lift just last year. Don't think there's a new one coming here next year?

Those pics makes it look..meh. The appeal of the current Duster is it's muscular looks, that is is rough and tough...these pics make it look like another city SUV used for negotiating fallen Jacaranda leafs... :/
 
My Dad has the petrol high spec, very happy with it. The engine is a bit lazy, but it's a very comfortable ride. The gps is really good, fuel consumption is highly driver dependant, at 110km/h you'll get 10-11km/l, push for 130km/h and it drains the tank. It's gone onto gravel roads quite easily.

It will probably appeal more to our kind of market (well-priced, good looking 4x4 that will never see a dirt road other than some lawn) and not current Duster owners.

Personally, I like both although I do feel that the new design shows a little bit more effort than the current car.
 
I got my 1,5l dci duster last week Friday and I am very impressed so far.
 
If its built in colombia then it shouldn't be all that bad... those guys make some decent cocaine after all
 
The only nice thing I can say about the 1,5DCI I've been driving for the last two years is that it's phenomenally economical. Apart from that it's only a level above agricultural equipment. Just about the least refined car compared the competition that you can find, and will probably barely outlast the warranty period given the way it's seemingly manufactured from glued together strips of foam.
