Anyone watching Carte Blanche?

I've also watched it. Glad they showed a more realistic picture of what is going on. That all races gets affected by crime in SA. But still government ignores the cry for help. :mad:

Ironically... somebody broke into my family's house a few minutes ago, they were frightened off before stealing anything of note but the cops arrived in about 5 mins, so kudos to the cops on our side.

Secondly I know as well as any other South African that crime is a massive problem... but I kinda got over it after the millionth news report on some middle class person getting raped and killed.
)

omfg! this is where our society is? where we are bored with the stories of rape and murder so we just change the channel?

‘We've had enough' - transcript to follow

For pete's sake, I can't remember how many times I've heard that (enough is enough) before. Nothing will change unless this moronic government get voted out of office.

What really irritates me is when the various people "call for the end" of things. When the xenophobic attacks were happening, Mbeki, Zuma, etc "called" for it to end. Mbeki and Zuma have both "called" for the end of violence in Zimbabwe.

I would like to know what this word "called" means in the eyes of government. Has this ever had any material affect on the situation?

When the guavament "calls" for something to happen/be done. .. they trying to tell the population that they must stop... not that they areplanning to stop / curb it... they want US to stop crime...

If only they were shot while trying to escape. :D

At least they didn't get anything or hurt anyone.

Thanks, yes this is true but something bad nearly would have happened if my sister had not been able to sneak out in time, very lucky and grateful for this.

So you figured you've got a long way to go before it impacts on you. :D

What is it with you? For someone in such a hurry to leave this country, you are really taking your time to "get your papers in". Why not stop telling us about it over and over again and just do it?

If you had half a brain cell in that skull of yours, you would know that it does not happen overnight and believe it or not, other countries have processes that can not be done away with by bribing officials. Maybe if you had a single ounce of intelligence you would understand that. "Time to get your paper in"? ROFL, you have no clue do you?
My paper have been in for some time and then one has to get a date for the exam, this also takes time as so many people are running away from here. It can take 4 months to get a date. But then you already knew that. :rolleyes:
Oh by the way I will keep telling you about it
