Hi Guys

Where can I source a power supply for a Xcube. They classified as a SFF power supply but to the best of my searching I cant find a compatible one.

Rectron does not have any and doesnt know where to get one either.

Any ideas?

Peon.

PS: For an optimetrist and the small box is just amazing and fabulous etc,etc,etc.

Perhaps it may be quicker just to transplant the innards into another sff / mini-itx case with PSU, if it is not too proprietary... ?

Just remove the internals from the Aopen and plonk them into something like this;

Do they say if it is a Flex ATX psu or SFX psu required.

If it takes a SFX look at the CFI 300w psu

Search code: PS-C300SFX

Apparently it is a non-standard PSU...

Not a whole lot to say about this power supply other than it is about the weirdest shaped power supply we have ever seen. Nonetheless it is specially designed for the AOpen XC Cube computer. This 275 watt power supply has part number FSP275-60CU and will fit perfectly in all of the AOpen computer systems and part numbers listed.

The power supply, as you can see from the internal photos and images above, is NOT an ATX design. It's smaller in every way, maybe a little bigger than 1/3 the size of standard ATX PSU. It is a custom size that does not fit any standard form factor, as far as I can tell. It does use an 80mm fan whose speed is thermally controlled.

Thanks for the reply fellas. Ive decided to build it into a new box. Would have been cool if the Xcube could have been retained.
