i recently installed Telkom's Huawei 4G LTE router (Model: B315S-936), i use to have a Netgear Router with ADSL, i have two AP's , B-Link WR1000, for some reason i cannot extend my current wifi connection, i set it up as a wireless AP and it does scan and find my network but it doesnt boost my signal at all. any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Never had much success with wifi - wifi boosters... usually the issue is "upstairs" vs "downstairs" - if so proceed:

To solve the problem - if it's possible:

1. Get another TP-Link Wifi AP with Ethernet port - they are quite cheap - R499 or so - but needs to have a passive POE injector with
it.
2. Run an ethernet cable from your main router into your roof- yes trust me - into your roof. You don't need a power plug in the roof as it gets powered via the ethernet cable - you are limited to around 15m - but that should be enough to get into your roof. - Connect it to the single ethernet port on the AP in the roof.
3. Setup the new AP as an AP on it's own - but give it exactly the same Wifi name a your other main router and same security type and key - remember case sensitve. Just disable DHCP on the AP in the roof, and point it to your main router for DNS and Gateway.

This way when you move upstairs with any device it will auto reconnect to the upstairs wifi - which runs via the network cable - and you wont believe how good you coverage is upstairs when your AP is above all the walls - perfect in all rooms.

I purchased this one:
Model No. TL-WA901ND

Bit more pictures that might explain:
