Apartheid responsible for Xenophobia

Oh FFS everything is Apartheids fault!
 
I would say Apartheid took black peoples racism against other tribes and played them against each other. Why they certainly are not the cause they definitly made the situation worse.

However, these racist (you can call them xenophobic attacks.. Ill call it flat out racism) attacks were organized, and I imagine if you look closely enough at the SACP or COSATU.. thats where you will find the current cause of the problem.
 
The actual cause is the fact that the government let's Zimbabwe destroy itself and allows the 3-8 odd million who have no jobs and money to stream into this country.

Sort out Zimbabwe and this country will be far better off.

It is not racism Wizard, Racism is for instance me saying i hate blacks (not true) just an example.
Xenophobia is people hating strangers or foreigners and the only reason they dislike or hate them is purely because they are taking jobs and adding to unemployment etc. It is not racism if you ask me.

I think your confused as too what Xenophobia is actually all about or maybe i am we shall see :D

Thing that irritates me most about apartheid is the word apartheid. In English it's pronounced seperatism not ah-put-hide.

Now lets face the truth here, if we still had apartheid:
Imagine our crime stats, it would be much better than now
Hospitals would have been in a better state
Schools would be better
ESKOM - need I say more
I think everything would have been better
Even the exchange rates would have been better

alles is apartheid se skuld, julle is 100% reg.

Well to me its flat out racism.

My reasoning is simple. There really is no such thing as racism, because scientifically there is only one race.. the human race. Homo sapien sapien.

So therefore while the word racism is used.. its used incorrectly. It implies problems across "races", when in all honesty the majority of the problems are cultural.

So to me these xenophobic problems were a clash of cultures, the same as ours were. It has the same symptoms and it has the same causes as what you would call racism. So I call it racism.

People dont like calling these attacks racist because black people cant be racists. Only white people.

I concur. Aparheid security officials did everything they could to cause aggression between the different bantu cultural groups.

I wont say Apatheid was the cause, but it was a part of the problem.
