On the Apple support pages a poster mentioned problems with the composite cable. He mentioned iOS6 and iPhone 4S.

Is anyone using the composite cable on either an iPhone or iPad and are you experiencing any problems with video or sound.

I urgently need feedback because I am preparing for a presentation quite soon.

Kind regards

My recommendation is to rather go for the VGA --> Ipad/Iphone connector (the official one). You can buy them at the iStore or Digicape. It plugs into your Ipad and the VGA from the project plugs into the connector. Works well with Keynote for iOS. But this won't solve the problem. Also try a HDMI connector for iPads. I recall that it does transfer both sound and video seemlessly.
