Apple could drop mini model from iPhone 14 range - Ming-Chi Kuo

But Apple will only join the party when the technology are there to give an excellent experience, unlike the subpar Android experience.

Nah.

As above, it's when the technology is cheap to implement. Apple is run by accountants and marketers.

The accountants go in and use the cheapest parts, and then the marketers convince you why you don't need *insert feature* right now or they do *insert feature * better when they get it

People are so convinced they won’t do a foldable anytime soon. If not this year, definitely next year in my opinion.

Sadly they don’t release the individual numbers.

Which is what makes all these statements all the more absurd.

Used my wife's mini the other day. It is just so much nicer than my regular iPhone :(

I'm using an 11 Pro which is oddly smaller than the vanilla iPhone of the 11 range (5.8" vs 6.1").

Coming from a 6.3 inch Android I'm quite enjoying the more compact form factor.

Mini sales have been slow, foldables are where it’s at, Apple would likely drop the mini for a foldable option.
They're gimmicks. They have a market, but it's not like they're taking over the world.
I had a Samsung clam shell phone in 2004 when it was cool then.

We already dropped foldable phones, the world has basically dropped "foldable" wallets and now we want to bring back foldable phones again. What an inconvenience having to flip it open often with only one hand.

It feels a bit like that 3D TV craze that happened not so long ago.
