Hi all,

So yesterday, I went to Apple Doctor in Maitland, Cape Town to have my iPhone 5 battery swopped out – which, I’d like to say was a pleasant experience, I arrived at 4pm and expected to have to book my phone in and come by the following day, but instead, they booked it in and 30 minutes later, I was able to take the phone home! So to the technician and the lady who assisted me – thanks, awesome!

However!

I arrived at about 16:00 and immediately walked into a very uncomfortable situation.

A guy, whom I'm assuming is the boss or in a managerial position was in the process of crapping out a female colleague – this gentleman was wearing a white jacket or jersey.

I could see how this was making the customers who were already in the store very uncomfortable, but hopefully, it was going to be short - Well, I was there for close to 30 minutes and it continued and continued - and what I couldn't understand was, there is an office in this branch where the admin staff sit which has a door, why didn't this guy take the staff member into the office and do the crap out session there - nope, he did it in full view of us and loud enough for us all to know the details of the entire discussion (it was about stock take and according to this guy, this colleague of his is not able to do her job properly) and from what I understand, almost every staff member in that branch has / should / will / has been given a warning about taking stuff off the shelves and not doing the procedure properly - do I really need to know this stuff?

I had to hear about all his years being in RETAIL and how she never took part in this and that even though she said she did, when she asked what she was expected to have done, he gave her such awful answers - clearly this guy knows better however, the way he brought the message across to the staff member disgusted me – but he clearly lacks the ability to talk to staff and maybe should work on that – as for the staff member, I felt really bad for her.

I posted this on the Apple Doctor Facebook page (https://web.facebook.com/appledoctor/) yesterday straight after getting home but it seems that the person who administrates the Apple Doctor Facebook page decided that my post was not acceptable and thus deleted it.

I'm really just disgusted at his behavior!
