Apple Event - Keynote March 2016

Meh. First time I've ever felt that after watching an Apple Event.

9.3 available tonight? Cannot recall now what was said.
 
16GB?! really, you cant say that the storage they use is still so expensive that they cant start with a bigger size?
 
Did forget about the drop down to $299 for the AW? Though, (a) not sure what it was before; and (b) not sure if that saving will make its way past Core...

$50 less on sports model (per twit.tv).
 
Is it me or is Apple fragmenting their product line up. Take the iPhone for example. There are now 3 separate models. 2 looks similar and the other looks different. One doesnt have 3D Touch. One has OIS. The same can be said of the iPad line up. One of Apple's strength was that their line up was simple to understand.

Apple has for a few years now kept the previous model iPhone alongside the current model. They also also added the 5C to the lineup so this is nothing unusual. It's still not as bad as having a A series, S series, S edge series, note series etc.

What they didn't clarify was the iPad Air: is that line now dead and the iPad Pro 10" actually the Air 3 or will the Air 3 still popup somewhere along the way? I hope they don't get stupid and make a Pro version of the Mini and then release an iPhone Pro for good measure...

It's probably very fragmented for Steve Jobs taste, most likely busy rolling in his grave.
 
Installed on iPP - doing same for iPhone... Really liking the Night Shift feature.
Had me to go and find/install f.lux for the Mac - nice little app!

That, and I'm clearly getting old.
 
Everyone seems disappointed :D. I'll definitely be replacing my Air with the Pro 9.7" when pricing drops - I don't see myself upgrading to the Air 2 in the meantime. iPhone SE also looks like something I'm very tempted to get :p.

Overall, it's exactly what I expected and was hoping for :)
