Apple gives tips for iPhone 5 purple haze

Don't have time to read up, but if that is the only response from Apple then that is pathetic. Really appears that the design is flawed, and if its defective then they should apologise and say that it is defective. Don't ask your customers to jump through retarded hoops to use your product.

Moving the camera slightly to change the position at which the bright light is entering the lens, or shielding the lens with your hand, should minimize or eliminate the effect

So Apple only have to focus their entire R&D department on 1 phone, and they get it wrong in such spectacular fashion. To compound the problem, the tech that is not working properly is not even bleeding edge.

Thats the first I have heard about iPhone 4. I'm loving my iPhone 4, although it will be a tossup between an iPhone 5 and Galaxy S III when I upgrade in December.
I'm not sure I like the way the iPhone 5 has been lengthened without widening. I prefer the form factor of the S III....but time will tell - need to first see the iPhone 5 in my hands before deciding

Maybe the purple is a feature ... a camera that picks up one's aura. Jobs put it in right at the end but didn't have time to tell anyone.
