They’ll do gift card/vouchers which you can redeem at some stage in the future but there’s always something to like there or simply sell the vouchers.

But even at a few grand more it murders anything bottom dollar brand new for the same money.

I've been running the various scenarios and they'd likely have gotten R10-11k depending on the condition. Not a bad trade in had they been advised about it.

I did say potential before you get too smart:

- One of the major selling points of a Mac is the resale value.

- Resale value of iMac is a fair chunk less than you expected (due to the timeline of Apple silicon).

It's not a stretch how those two elements can link up for a possible rant/moan/complaint.
