I think that hdd is going to be more than adequate for the market it is aimed at. Do they make a faster, larger capacity hdd in that form factor, because from what I can tell keeping the MBA as thin as possible was of the highest priority to them.

Yeah, speed wise not much they can do. For the price though :/ it's a lot of quid to whip out for something that's just basically a looker.

Too right but it will sell.

One thing that gets me about the design is the curved base. It looks like it will wobble like a table in a seedy restaurant each time you use Shift, I know it wont but it looks that way, which irks.

I gotta be honest: I really wish that I could be excited about new Apple products. I wish I could join in the bleating with each new announcement and revel in 5+ pages of Apple related blah on Engadget.
No one else is having more fun in the tech world right now than Apple and fans thereof.
I feel like the kid with allergies who cant ride the roundabout and can only sit on the sidelines and sneer sarcastically.

If the price were better, I'd buy one. But the fact is, its slimness is a novelty, and people pay big bucks for a novelty.
