iPhone 4 makes world debut

Eager Apple fans rushed stores around the world Thursday to become the first owners of the latest-generation iPhone as it made its global debut in five countries.

So what is Steve Jobs response to the antenna design flaw? Just hold the phone different or buy a protective apple cover for $26. And guess what all Apple fanbois will go out and buy it, more $ for Apple.

o well, I guess having to wait a bit longer has some advantages...

oh and I love how having a store sell out of units is a measure of success - Just do some reasearch into how big the market is for each city and make sure you short supply duh!!

I think they actually ARE that stupid. All of them. To them it's as if no other phone exists and that the iPhone is the first one ever to be able to play movies and browse sites.

Apple only has designers, not engineers. That's why no one thought "hmm, the antenna's steel [hence relatively flexible/elastic] and it's on the outside of the phone, I wonder what would happen if someone were to warp the antenna or change the 2 antennae's characteristic impedances, patterns etc by providing a resistive link with their finger"
