Apple iPhone 5 disappointment

I find it interesting, I mean I have a 2 Nexus devices and I don't really care about Google. I like the uniqueness of the devices and the software is fun to use because it is\was so different from what's available. What I'm trying to say is that yes I use Google but do I care about Google as a company....nope. I'm just a consumer, I consume Google's wares.

That's why I struggle to understand you're total commitment to Apple even though you have none of their devices.
Here's an analogy: I use a 3yr Windows phone but all my attention is on RIM's hardware\software and I actively discuss RIM's hardware\software yet I pimp my 3yr WP with mods and what not...

Surely you have a iPhone 3 or 3GS or iPad 1 or 2?

I just find it weird...maybe it's me.
 
I've got an iPad2, an iPad3, an SGS1 and a Lumia 610. I don't have a total commitment to Apple. I keep trying to say that I don't and nobody believes me, I guess because I do take their side more frequently than not. Well let's be honest I'd probably be happier if I had an iPhone4 or up than with the SGS now. I did have iPhone 3g, SGS2, Sony Tablet S 10', and Nexus 7 at various points.

You're an iSheep until you stop liking Apple. Thats the rules unfortunately. BeVonk no longer likes Apple, and he is the new saviour and example to everyone else that is still deluded. Well, according to the resident troll anyway

Iphone 4 is better than an sgs1 yes,especially because the screen has a hugely better screen res per inch.That remains my major gripe with the sgs 2 also the low screen res per inch.

I dont recall the iphone 4s dropping price 6 months after its launch,Apple still continued to make high profits of it.

CaCell and the like are in a bidding war with each other so it doesn't surprise me that they would offer it that cheap. You also have to consider middle man greed when it comes to Apple products due to the supposed exclusivity factor and therefore you're unlikely to see CaCell sell an iPhone for that much.

What unofficial about cacell,all their products carry local warranties etc a few of my friends have bought from them and were very happy with the service also.So all other things equal in a free market price will dictate where you buy from.

My brother in law paid R6700 for his sealed iPhone 4S through Bid Or Buy in April last year.

It is not indicative of recommended retail price and hence I use carriers as a barometer.

To be honest, I haven't seen you say anything against them but I have seen you frequently defend them and I have also seen you attack others (like Samsung) from time to time. The term is "if the shoe fits". You did have a couple of compliments for the N7 but thats about it from the other side.

Yet I recently bought an iPad 4 for R8500 and an iPad Mini for R5500. That is a strange investment for someone who no longer likes Apple and is the new savior ...

You don't get it. I am stating things as they are but when that involves anything negative about Apple guys like you go bananas (instead of apples). Only by seeing and admitting shortcomings can progress be made.
