It's not ANYTHING negative. I've yet to see you post a single positive article about them. Everything that comes out of you, at least on the forum side, is doom and gloom for Apple. You jump on rumours like they're gospel. I appreciate that you are actually fairly balanced in practice; but you don't give strong evidence of that on here.
And this idea you have that Apple is some kind of cult is just...well I don't know what it is... patronising certainly; insulting....
Okay Cerebus, so the term cult-like following is totally foreign to you?
If ever there was a company that got this right it is Apple. The have created the Apple Cult. Devotees will fight to protect it. Devotees will try to convert others to become members. No other tech company has it like Apple. Jobs got that right.
And as I said, that makes these Apple devotees stand out. As an outspoken Christian you of all people here should understand this. But you prefer to play both sides as it suits your ego on here.
If you never read me write ANYTHING positive on here about Apple then it shows how you pick and choose your reading, and how you read what I write with a preset mindset.
There is much about Apple I appreciate, and in my cult days I wrote enough about that on here. BTW this reply is typed on an iPad Mini. I have however been liberated from the cult with the help of forumites like Elimentals who took me on and challenged me. I realised that I could only be truthful if I give Android a full fair go.
It didn't start off well. I hated Honeycomb like no tomorrow but Elimentals and others convinced me to root and flash new roms. That started to change my views. It took Jelly Bean to finally convince me that there are better ways to do things and The shortcomings of Apple became very clear. I started to point these out. But then you and the rest of the sheeple started to attack me for committing the ultimate non-pardonable sin: Apple blasphemy.
I can live with that. I learned much. I even applied what I learned from this in my spiritual journey.
But Cerebus, you enjoy that Apple Velcro that holds you back. I've been liberated to enjoy 'em all ... but also to judge 'em all fairly.
