Apple iPhone 5 unveiled

Can't wait to see what the new Galaxy S4 brings in February next year. 4x A15 goodness for sure and larger screen. Anyone knows what treat will come after "J" that starts with a "K"? Koeksister?
 
Key lime pie is still not official. We can still introduce 'em to Koeksisters.

We've been tipped by a reliable source today that Google will be using the name "Key Lime Pie" for the version of Android that comes after Jelly Bean (in fact, the information comes from the very same source that tipped us to the Jelly Bean codename last year). We don't have any guidance on when we might see Key Lime Pie officially unveiled or what the version number may be — we haven't even seen Jelly Bean yet, after all — but it's reasonable to think that it could be a 2013 deliverable, particularly as Google has slowed down Android's iterative pace over the past couple versions.

To be honest I personally wish the dam OEM's would adapt the new versions a tad faster, not that we missing functionality but it does reflect negatively on the OS.

Windows Phone and iOS both overcame the upgrade paths in their own way, its only fitting that Android do the same, they know they can, XDA & CM has proven that time and again
 
I don't get why people have an issue with a plastic back. How many of you stick some sort of a case on it anyway :confused:

I used to love my HTC phones because of the aluminium feel to everything. Then I got an S2 and felt I made a mistake cause it felt cheap. But damn was it light. Then I put a case on it and never thought about it again.
 
Okay people, after all that have been said here ... iPhone 5 vs Galaxy S3 etc ... can the iPhone fans please explain to me how they get full value out of their fancy iPhones without commiting fraud to get access to all the nice goodies on App Stores other than our own? No use telling us about that cool screen and processor when the stuff I need to make use of all that goodness must be bought using vouchers and a false address.

Same here, got a cover on my S2 and it just feels great. If I take the Casemate cover off, the phone just feels too thin.

*The plastic is actually much better to use, as it causes less interference with anything inside the phone, like antennae, etc.
