Apple iPhone 5 unveiled

Personally I'm just bored with iOS. Sure its functional, but I've been staring at the same screen of icons for the last 2 years now. Not sure if I want to push it for another 2.

When I first switched from iOS to Android, there was actually too much choice.

Took me a while to "settle" and be selective about the widgets, apps, etc I install on my phone.

Or Windows Phone 8, where you can at least make the live tiles bigger or smaller, and move them around.

Already makes it better than iOS, and with Android & WP8, you might actually arrive safely at your destination. :D
 
That does not decry those impressive figures from the A6 GPU... it is an impressive score.

I'm sure if you strip Android down to what iOS delivers at the mo, you'll get some insane benchmarks for the Android flagships and midrange phones.

Yeah, it's impressive, but like I said, iOS is such a basic OS, it does not use a lot of system resources.

And the reason it will always look good in benchmarks.

I'm more concerned about real life and what my phone can do, don't give a hoot about benchmarks.

What you think of it is immaterial. Point is you can customize. In fact this may be more to your liking considering the hard on you have for windows.

We all like to explore new stuff & I know everything about Android now, so my brain tells me it's time to try something else.

Wouldn't go so far as to say I get a hard-on for a phone OS (would be a really sad day :)), but I do get one for this girl. :love:
 
iOS is very boring, always has been. The whole point is you aren't meant to spend much time in the UI. Apps are everything.

After using the Tablet S for a while I reckon the single biggest failing of iOS is the inability to multitask properly. I love tapping on the screen to see all my apps in the same state. But apart from that.... customisation schmustomisation. Give me apps.

Hmmm Sassibob... If you like her you should check out Ashley Esqueda's channel as well. I love the ones where they podcast together (Girls Gone Gadgets) just need more of em....

But like I said, unlike Android its not so easy to do this, possible yes, easy HELL NO.

Are you talking about creating the theme from scratch? Or are you talking about the end user who puts this on his/her phone?
