Apple has been selling overpriced, under featured products to a ludicrously small market niche based on their former 'prestige' for way too long now.
The Powerbook you buy today not only has the same features as any other laptop but now also uses the same architecture (Intel) but still costs way more (maaan its the desiiign-its like, awsesome!).
Sounds like ur all up to date on your product specs there

You wouldn't want to actually go and
price similar systems to see that this is a myth.
And now their latest revolutionary device is ...wait for it ...a cell phone?? (cue sad trombone BA-BA-BA-BAWAWAWA..)
Consumers really need to wise up to the fact the Apple is resting on their laurels.
Any fool can see that taking a cue from the company that is the market leader in music player sales, online music sales, and online movie sales is just pure madness! What possible advantage could there be from taking the world leader in music players and adding way cool and functional phone features.
The iPhone is nothing but hype and fanboy rubbish (sorry fanboys), sure it has some nifty features (accelerometer, proximity sensor and maybe one or two others) but nothing that isisn'tmerelyan optimisation of already existing and available features on other devices.
Seems like the market is just filled with these "other devices" - take for instance the Samsung... uh, no samsung doesn't have one. Ok lets look at the Motorola ... darn, nothing there either, but surely there's a Sony or Nokia... wow seems like we're fresh outa luck. Darn that Arty MacStrawman is a slimy bugger.
As a k-jam user the iPhone offers me absolutely zero in terms of new features in fact the limitations in terms of useable media (you can only use iTunes friendly media - no divx etc.) puts the iPhone at a disadvantage from the outset. So far as I can tell you are unable to load 3rd party applications - also a huge and built in disadvantage.
Its not like my entire mac itunes library works on my pc as well, or like my ical calendars and address book contacts can be transfered to Outlook with a simple export. I wouldn't want to be using open source formats for all that info, why make things easy for myself.
I also wouldn't want my iphone to run os x so that those drunk fanboy mac developers can get to work coding widgets using that unwieldy little dashcode app. No way Jose.
No removable battery - another glaring disadvantage.
Yep, just look at how the ipod has tanked with its built in battery.

Clearly this isn't even a vague consideration when a buying decision is made. If your battery needs replacing, just send it in to Apple and have a new one put in, or get the cheap plastic tool that will allow you to do it yourself.
No memory expansion slot ...well... maybe 8gig is enough, but u never know whats around the corner - why stunt the device from the outset?
Yeah, I see that the market is awash with cheap 4 and 8 gig memory cards, and even the yet to be released Nokia N-series phones are gonna come with a whopping 2gig - no competitive advantage there at all. What was jobs thinking.
No Exchange and Outlook compatibility - I'm willing to bet that at least 90% of the people in this country that can afford such a device work in a Microsoft Exchange/Outlook environment and will not be able to use this thing based on the fact that you cannot sync appointments, notes or contacts unless you use iTunes - HUGE mistake appletards!
Thats the point exactly - why bother with expensive exchange/outlook setups when you can just avoid all the hassle and use the free yahoo service built into your phone. Just set your clunky exchange account to forward ur mail to that account. Then again, why bother at all considering the iphone is gonna have push email same as Blackberry.
Seems like another reason not to use MS and switch.
Revolutionising the telephone?? I think not Mr. Jobs.
Revolutionising the exploitation of idle-minded American hipsters through thinly veiled elitist archetypes - most certainly dear sir!
BTW the word ur looking for is
frigtard.
Anyone feel like going out and getting slinky a Zune to make him feel better?
