Apple Mac Mini RAM in pretoria

Hi guys

Well i eventually managed to get a mac mini to use for video editing, now what i need is RAM.

The mac mini is a 1.66Ghz late 2006 model.

Can anyone tell me where i can get this RAM in pretoria or even what kind of ram?

As far as I know it is PC3200 SDRAM (400MHz). My brother-in-law upgraded his a while ago. Here is a link to a tutorial how to do it:

DDR2 667 SO-DIMM (laptop memory). If you don't mind the drive you can try Cyberdyne in Roodepoort. They stock Super*Talent RAM.

i just need the RAM, i know how to install it

and it is the DDR2 667Mhz PC-5300 it seems...

Well i eventually found RAM at matrix for 239 was actually quite impressed, well it wasn't "apple" branded but it works 100%.

I installed the RAM and had no problems, the one guide was really good.

Busy doing my first Snow Leopard installation, can't wait to start editing!
