Apple MacBook Air 2010 launched

Wish we could get another importer other than Core Group - this machine is probably going to retail for more than R10k, even though it is exactly the same price as the regular MacBook in the States...

Still - would love to get this for my wife - fits her specs exactly!
 
Its a beautiful device but way too expensive.
 
Ordering from overseas for Christmas, hell ya! You can save a bundle, never order from these local stores, they rip you off big time.
 
Compared to Lion it might even look boring if you ask me - I have no doubt about that. But it can do lots more.

Does that laptop really need to be thinner? I think Apple are going overboard now.
 
That is drool worthy. If I buy one I will make sure to buy in the states and get someone to bring it for me. I will never buy another Mac in this country again.

I'd probably get one if XCode didn't take so friggen long to compile the game that I am working on. So for now I will stick with Windows and Visual Studio :cry:
 
Reason Core can't give the prices yet, is because they don't control the price of Vaseline, and we all know that plays a big part in their business strategy.
