Joking aside, Apple will probably also offer a single sim version* for the companies like Vodacom.
*if the dual sim version actually appears

This is the important part. Just because they’ve tested something doesn’t always make it true.
For that matter it could even be specific to testing across multiple providers and nothing to do with hardware production.
