Well, PC's are coming out in 12" now, as a netbook, I guess Mac saw this market loooong time ago

Tiny laptops - 12 inches and below are not new. Sony, NEC, Fujitsu, Kohjinsha and Panasonic have been doing them for years. The difference with netbooks is small and cheap and not very powerful - but good enough for Office and www.
Apple also had tiny Powerbooks/Macbooks in 12 inches before based on the G4/5 lines.
That 12" G4 powerbook is still much sought after.

It outperforms 1.6Ghz netbooks. You do realise that netbooks are low performance and are not there for HD video effect rendering, ne?
Build quality is great too.

Can you run OS X on a regular PC without going stark raving mad (or having a software engineer's degree)?
At one point I had Windows XP, Ubuntu and OS X all running simultaneously on the MacBook. I saw no real problem with performance either. All the programs I was using opened and operated just fine.

Its a decent little workhorse that will still run today's version of OsX. I'd trade my 13" MB for one in a heartbeat.

You missing the point about the type and of pc equipment and mac equivalent here.
This thread is about Core and its sole mandate to promote, sell, support Apple as a brand here.

instead of trying to monopolize the market, despite the comeback from Core, why don't multiple companies and entities come together and try to promote the apple products and bring more of a market for them in SA. maybe influence more people open up some stores here ... we are trying
