Well I'm impressed. Those air buds stand out big time for me. I've got bluetooth Sennheiser head phones but the lack of portability is the biggest PITA. These buds just look perfect for my needs.

Would you pay between R2500-R3000 for them?

For me the best part of the presentation was that Apple has put their energy to finally solving the wireless audio problem. Hopefully it's finally solved.

The stems of the airpods look like a good place to connect some form of tether linking both pods together.

You heard it here first folks.

Thinking about the airpods, not so great for hiking in the mountain, the advantage of tethered earphones is they don't get lost when they fall out of your ear.

Has a loop around the back of the neck - look pretty nice.

Hope they will be more comfortable. If the Apple pods are similar to their current design, then it's a skip for me. Don't find them at all comfortable.
