Apple tests next-generation M2 chips

Apple launched when you were done beta testing. Yes you had it first. Yes you had the camera perks sooner too - now go look at the independent testing on smartphone cameras. Guess what?

I just admitted that they trade places, sometimes Samsung wins?

The independent testing rated the Mate 20 Pro as the best smartphone? So you're saying Apple launched all the features again (wait for it) at the best time? I'd feel so foolish saying that time and time and time again.

The next year was another Huawei phone at the top. And the next.

PS iPhone hasn't been a #1 on a smartphone camera for a very long time. A VERY long time. I'll be right next to you celebrating when they can launch a #1 camera :)

But it's a good enough camera, at least

After using Windows for 20 odd years I thought it was time for a change and all the positive press around the M1 chips was definitely a factor in that decision.Thought about holding out for the release of the M2 chip but wasn’t sure how long I could be waiting for so pulled the trigger on a MacBook Air at iStore for just over R18k.
Really good value for money although as a US citizen it retails for $899 which is crazy value for money.

Apple definitely onto a good thing with the new chips and excited to see what the M2 can offer.

Also simple little things like my Apple Watch unlocking my MacBook so seamlessly are a real joy.
