Apple users the happiest

Sure, it's a stunning looking PC, slick UI and never gives you problems

but it's useless for me in my field

The business field?

I work in a heavy corporate environment, I run Virtualbox with WinXP SP3 on my MBP... no hassles.
If you want 'pure' Windows you can use Bootcamp (built into OSX install disc, ie: free) to dual boot so you can use your Mac as a Dozer if needs be.

Not arguing btw, just mentioning in case you felt that a Macintosh is totally out of the question desopit the fact that you'd like one... which is the impression I got from your post.

Was an article week or two back about how richer people are also happier.

Apple is more expensive and therefore generally only bought by richer people.

People with money are generally happier.

You would be very wrong.

Also, I would not be able to watch my blu ray DVDs if I opt for a Mac, the parts inside a Mac is not what I would call top grade - and it is insanely overpriced. I prefer Asus motherboards, Corsair RAM, Sony/Lite On Blu-Ray writers/players, etc.

Much as the same as your other replier, I work in a worldwide corporate.
The number of 'unofficial' Apples are increasing. Usually they have Parallels or VMWare installed so they can run OSX and Windows 7 on the same device without booting.
However the company wont fund these purchases at this point so they are private purchases with Windows 7 that is setup by our Infrastructure department.
The guys all love them.

My Apples are all at home. At work I use the Dell stuff the company gives me.
